I’m Jake, and the first thing you should know about me is how absolutely awful I am at writing “about me” sections.
The second thing, considering you’re here is, that I have Crohn’s Disease. This basically means my intestine decides to swell up and attack itself like an idiot sometimes. If to know how all this started for me check this out. I’ll be sharing my ramblings on having Crohn’s, which I’ve found can be really shitty at times but at least you always have a decent pun at the ready.
Uhh, so, a little about me. Cue all the average 20-something year old guy clichés. I like going to the pub with a few mates, watching football (not playing, nobody needs to see that), and listening to music.
I find how you REALLY know someone is their “guilty pleasures”. Luckily, I don’t really feel the guilt associated with this as much as others seem to, so are some of the things I like too much:
- Harry Potter
- Music (Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran, Jack Garratt to name a few of my “cooler” favourites, as well as an unhealthy memory for cheesy one hit wonders)
- Lego
- Puns
- Takeaways
As well as a few things dislike more than average:
- Wearing ankle socks with jeans
- Bananas
- Peter Andre (as a person, not “Mysterious Girl”, because that is a tune)
Thats about it really. If you like what you’ve read then I guess you should follow this blog, and if you don’t like what you’ve read then I don’t really know what you’re still doing this far down the page…
